hello
i know there are so many trusted bookmakers in offshore, but i always wonder why are not listed here bookmakers like bookmakers.com, thegreek, bet cris etc?
Are you asking why do people use them?
Quite simply Americans have no other options as most bookies abide by US laws and don't accept US based customers. And that includes the Greek now.
Personally I avoid any bookie which does accept US customers as I'm fearful of them being taken down and funds being lost as a result of US government action. But I'm in the fortunate position of being able to bet with the likes of Pinnacle,Betfair,SBO and Matchbook, unlike our unfortunate American cousins.

@Hareeba - are you concerned that Pinnacle was accepting bets form the US via agents? They were taking bets from US players indirectly until recently.

Many of the sportsbooks like Intertops and Sports Interaction, do not accept NEW players from the US, but take bets from old account holders.

Yes, for sure that would be a serious concern if they are doing it openly. But I would expect that there are non US based agents placing bets on behalf of US citizens at all books whether the books know it or not. I can't see how that can ever be eliminated.
I did get a decent payout of the money in my account from 5dimes today. They were possibly the last of the highly rated offshore bookies to close their doors to British customers, following the introduction of the point of consumption tax.
