Never saw 11 1/2 MPH speed limit before…how would they even get to this number? Why? Seemed very odd to me to even see that

Some cities / counties have REALLY odd statutes that mandate dedicated bike paths if road speed over x mph; some require street lights at certain speed or a designated # of daily visits by Sheriff or a sound hump or painted median lines, etc

Somewhere there's a charter dictating some action at 12 mph that noone (HOA or city) wants to pay for...
