The issue seems to be USC wanting the game in the first couple of weeks of the season to get it "out of the way". I think they realize losing early might not impact their CFP chances as much as losing in week 14.

ND, I don't think cared about that aspect.

I went to one of these games in Los Angeles a few years back. I loved seeing all the rich college girls.

Sad to see that it's ending. Maybe it will only be a temporary situation.
