alright, so far here are some leans and picks that i have for this week (NFL Week 4). will be updating and adding as the week goes...

all odds from Bovada

  • Vikings vs. Saints - in London, UK
I’m leaning Vikings ml (-145) here, havent’ pulled a trigger considering jetlag for both teams going to the UK. The Saints looked like a train wreck in their loss against the Panthers, giving up 22pts and 2 interceptions. how much do you guys think the jetlag will affect both teams? or you think it's not a major factor here?

  • Bills vs. Ravens
The Bills still have a lot of talent despite their loss to the dolphins in week 3. However, both teams have secondaries with injuries. It all comes down to which qb has the better weapons - I give that edge to the Bills. My question is, can the ravens cover +3.5? lmk your thoughts. I am leaning the over 51.5 on this, though.

  • Chicago vs. Giants
Giants are coming off of a short week and L to the Cowboys (23-16). The Bears defense should be able to handle whatever the giants may bring. Fields appears to be getting more comfortable inside the pocket as well. I’m locked in on Bears +3.5

Sigh.... I wish I could disagree with that Vikings pick. But sadly I cannot.

The Saints are a mess the O-Line has been bad, Winton playing hurt and terrible, and now add in a couple more banged-up players. Would like to think we match up well defensively but we have not generated much of a pass rush so far and pressure usually is the tipping point for Cousins.

I don't think the jetlag will be all that much of a difference maker for either but the Saints are def better at the home in the dome than on the road the last few years. this being kind of a road game on steroids has to be considered as a bit of a negative for us I think.

adding:
  • Rams vs. 49ers
I like the Rams to win this outright. 49ers are not healthy and will be without Trent Williams. Look at how they played against the broncos last week with 4 sacks allowed. I think Matt Stafford will need to step it up and have a clean game. The Rams are the stronger team here so i’ll grab rams ml at Bovada (currently even)

anyone have an opinion on jags/eagles?

at the beginning of the week i was leaning jags +6.5 as i could see an eagles win/jags cover. but the eagles are 4-0-1 ats in their last 5 home games as a favorie, while the jags are 1-5 ats in their last 5. have to take that chargers dub with a grain of salt too because la was incredibly banged up...after more consideration, i ended up being on the eagles side. usually when i feel this way i just stay away, but i'd love to hear if anyone has a side por favor.
