Recap : Wild Card Rd

Taking into account that Baltimore played the #14 team in the NFL Rankings , their D was outstanding , limiting Pitt to 29 yds rushing. Lamaar's #'s werent all that impressive by his standards , but he wasnt needed as Henry ran over Pitt with 186 yds. Baltimore are for real

Amazing D effort from Houston. One of the most dominant efforts ive seen this year. Jury is still out on the offensive side of the ball.

Buffalo played stellar defense yesterday. Will need all those healthy bodies to play even better against The Ravens

Philly showed why they are the #1 D in the NFL. I thought Hurts looked jittery in the pocket and a bit rusty from the 3 week layoff. Offense only gets a C

Washington should erect a statue of Daniels and give him the key to the city. Even tho TB fumbled the game away, Daniels was outstanding. My player of the weekend so far. Such poise for a kid

LA Rams have a ton of offensive weapons with a QB that has a golden arm and 2 Go To receivers in Nacua and Kupp. Having Higbee back last night made all the difference. The defence has really stepped it up the past 5 or 6 weeks, and were the main reason The Rams grabbed to Division and a playoff spot. Once again the defence came through last night creating several turnovers to seal the deal. Philly will need to create a better offensive performance against the Rams, but their #1 D will create havoc for LA.

My 2 cents

Stellar performance by the Rams.
One issue for them - Hang on to the damn ball. So many fumbles. They will be wrecked by PHI with any turnovers.
I feel the same way. The 2 weeks between games gave Stafford a chance to heal , Philly's D will put him back in the infirmary for sure. I wasnt all that impressed with LA's offence , but their D gave Darnell fits ( No he didnt suddenly become a bad QB , LA made it look that way )

Playoff match ups :

Sat:

Houston @ KC : 4:30pm
Wash @ Detroit : 8pm

Sun:

LA Rams @ Philly : 3pm
Balt @ Buffalo : 6:30pm
Early Leans :

Houston @ KC : Houston + 8.5

KC have a team that hasnt played an actual competitive game of football for 3 weeks. Houston D has stepped it up down the stretch , i still see KC finding a way to win ( they always do ) , just dont think they cover the #

Wash @ Detroit : Detroit -9 ? I feel very confident in a Detroit win , not sure i want to give that many points to Daniels

LA Rams @ Philly : Philly -6 J.Hurts is the better QB in so may ways , but last week made people wonder if hes 100%. Not sure he will be relied on or needed. Philly should be able to dominate both lines of scrimmage ( Even without Dean )

Baltimore @ Buffalo : Bills M/L @ Even This is the game of the weekend. Josh vs Lamaar , if you put it down to the 2 MVP' candidates. ( Votes are already done ). So many people pointing to week 4 as a basis for backing Balt. The Bills were a skeleton of the team that plays Sunday. Week 4 saw 6 starters from the D out ( Most notably the heart of the D in Milano , Bernard ) and several key players on offence. I like the better QB and MVP to play exactly how he has all season and pull out a victory in Orchard Park
