New CFB Clock Rules Have Reduced Possession by ~6.5%

Dropped from 26.3 to 24.6 possessions per game. Doesn't sound like a lot but it adds up.

The it would be best to ask if the scores are overall different, lower or higher, and not the Totals record.

The Totals record includes an other variable, the line offered.

You could also ask if the Totals being hung are different than other years.

I have the data and could generate some info but I don't think its worthwhile.

The first few weeks of the season are always a mess for teams so trying to compare these 4 weeks to prior seasons would be tough.... but, since you asked and I have OCD....


Unders are hitting 52.8% so far.
I only look at FBS games.
