new Bookmaker.eu bug

Earlier this week I have started to have this annoying bug where I can't place the max bet with Bookmaker, see attachment.

So instead of just two clicks when I want to place a max bet, I have to type the numbers in manually, in this case change from 3360 to 3359 or something.

It's only for "stake" this happens, with "to win" I can bet the actual max bet amount.

Do others get this bug too?

I am trying to figure out if this is happening to both USD and EUR accounts or only to EUR accounts. In the past there had been similar issues where USD accounts were unaffected.

I have reported it to them but you you know how it is with them, so I'm trying to do some troubleshooting here.

Maybe just a bug on EUR accounts then. (If no-one else is getting it.)

Last time there was a EUR accounts only bug it took them nearly a year to fix, which to be fair is still quicker than they solve some other bugs but still not exactly stellar service.

seems to be some kind of problem when converting the limit into (or displaying the limit in) foreign currencies, yeah. They've had the same issue before

I've run into this issue with a lot of sites.

It's almost always when betting in a currency that is not the book's native currency.

Their conversion spits out a slightly different number then what is listed.

It's a pain to have to adjust a tad bit less than what's listed every time but it is what it is and I highly doubt they will bother fixing this as they never fix anything else with their site.

This came back for two days this week, then went away again.
I have been asking them every now and then for the past 2.5 months if they have any updates on this and they never do.
This leads me do believe that they never actually resolved this, it comes and goes on its own and they have no clue what to do about it.

It seems to have to do with the EUR/USD conversion rate. This gets updated daily and sometimes it causes this issue. Their max bet is always based on USD, so the euro max bet will depend on the daily rate. Let's say the conversion rate is 0.95, then if the max bet for USD accounts is 1000 USD, the max bet for EUR accounts is 950 EUR.

I first noticed this bug happening on Nov 30. At the start of that day their conversion rate was 0.94 and I could place my max bets fine. Then when they changed the rate to 0.96 later that day I got this bug.
As far as I know, this bug then continued to happen until January 11 (so over 40 days). On that day they changed their rate from 0.95 to 0.93. After that I did not get the bug.
It seemed resolved, but on February 14 the bug started to happen again after they changed their rate from 0.93 to 0.94.
Then today (Feb 16) they changed the rate from 0.94 to 0.93 and the bug is (temporarily?) gone again.

But it's also weird, because it happens quite often that this rate is changed from one day to the next, but only sometimes does it cause this issue. I have also noticed that the rate 0.94 has been involved everytime this has happened, but I don't know if that somehow can trigger this or if that is just a coincidence. Maybe someone who knows about programming has any thoughts on this.

For now I'll adjust manually when the bug comes back, but it's annoying and time consuming.

I would think it's a rounding (?) problem. So when (for example) $100 are EUR 93.497, the limit is displayed as EUR 93.50, but you can't bet this, as it's actually above $100

I don't think that's the case. This bug was going for 40 days in a row. The rate can't have been at something .497 all those days. If was just one day this happened, yes it could have been the scenario you describe.

Rate back to 0.94 and bug kicks in again.
