So once you realize you’re a loser - you should just give up on life in general ? Or just as a gambler ?
Thousands of casino workers depend on people not following this advice.
The biggest take away to me is simply “Don’t chase” - there will be dry spells - doubling up in hopes of getting it all back rarely works out well. If your a 45% capper - odds say more than half the time it won’t work. Worse - way too many take a “win” as a sign that they are about to start a streak the other way and keep pushing - eventually going right back into the same hole or worse.
Bankroll management is more important than handicapping skill. A good money manager alway is able to stay in the game - a good handicapper with no management skill isn’t.
