IDK about ISU covering tonight vs Houston.

Ames can be a tough place to play and ISU has some Hilton Magic but Houston is STOUT again this year. Just feel like it should be ISU +5 or 6 tonight.

Sharps pounded Iowa State. The number moved from the opener +3.5 to +2.5 when LT bet it. It'll be interesting to see what happens here I'm personally playing the under 132 in this one as Houston should at least be able to keep Iowa State in check here with their vaunted defense.

I did double-take myself when I saw model has it close to a Pick. Seems Iowa State could be best defense Houston has faced, second to Houston in turnovers forced and fifth in def efficiency. And ISU the much better eFG%.

I'll give you that ISU is the best D they will face at #5 on KenPom but I think their stats especially eFG% is not very representative. They've had an easy schedule.

They've only played 4 top 100 (KenPom) teams and lost 3 of those. They did beat a VCU team (#109) but should have lost that one too.

I just feel ISU is over-rated including their stats.
I'd be on Houston but like I said, strange things happen at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. So, I'm not on the game.

P.S. I graduated from ISU so that should give you some idea of how strongly I feel about the Houston edge.

Sorry to tread all over your thread about this one game but who is going to step up for ISU?

Lipsey - has been flat so far this year. Frankly, Gilbert has played better than him.
Maybe the freshman Milan Momcilovic will come alive tonight.
Or Hason Ward since he's come back for the last two games and played well.

FWIW., the 3 Top 100 losses were all away from home and they CRUSHED Iowa at home. ISU is still 18th overall on Kenpom with schedule factored in and they are 6th in HCA at +4.2
