I heard that exact explanation from 2 CBB coaches this weekend on ESPN radio.

Small schools that get good freshman will develop them and they will leave for NIL $ to bigger schools. Any player that is decent in the mid-major schools will leave in the following year. Separation between haves and have-nots will grow and you can expect Cinderellas to be a very very rare event going forward.

Sometimes a player transcends. They usually name effects after them.

For example: The Caitlin Clark Effect

But in a sport like Men's Hoops there are plenty of names, and they make up those dominant teams. @BMR Genie is right, good games are good games, no matter the level.

Hes wrong. For instance VCU is allowing its bball team to pay each player $450,000 a season now. That will actually snag good players from top programs with that cash and more minutes promised
