I follow the SEC and here are 2 I like and will play shortly:

South Carolina over 6½ (+130) BAS
LSU over 7 (+105)BAS & over 6½ (-135)Betly

Rattler transfers to SC and the new coach has instilled some confidence in the team (IMO). They play a tough schedule (who does not in the SEC) but I think the team it good. The key game is when they visit Fayetteville in each teams 2nd game. I think they can beat the Hogs.

LSU has too much talent. I cannot turn down this number. I don't know if Kelly can get this group to gel but I am going to take a position saying he will.

You guys have any opinions on season wins with the teams you follow? Post'em and good luck this year. Can't wait!!!!!

I like the SC play.

I THINK LSU will win over 7. They should with the talent pool available but, will Brian Kelly screw up the culture and cause a mess? Its hard to say. ND was so different than the culture Orgeron built.

I think LSU is going to be great (8-9 wins) if Kelly gets them bought into his system but it is a question if he can change their approach to match his style. 3 years of players were recruited and lived under Orgeron. Will they adapt to Kelly? If they don't, it could be a disaster.

PP what's your thoughts on....

Florida Regular Season Wins

Over 7 Wins -130
Under 7 Wins +100
Kentucky, Tennessee, and S Carolina look to be games that could go either way this year. All 3 teams are as good or improved from last year IMO. They go to Tex. A&M and that will be rough. They open with Utah and that will be no picnic. The only gimmies are S Florida, E Washington, Missouri, and Vandy as I see it. If I were to play it I would take a position on the un 7 @+100. GL either way!!!

With NIL and conference expansion, SEC teams are going to have to get used to 6-6. It ain't going to be as much fun as they think.
I think you're right. The middle teams in the POWER conferences with the big alumni bucks (B10, SEC) will be getting a lot more of the best players and it will even out their play a little and allow them to steal a game or two from the cream of the conference.

The big boys Bama, Ohio St, Mich, etc.. will still be on top because they have way more money than the others.

The other conferences will have the left overs.

It depends on how much they spend. Michigan State spent big time and got even fast.

Texas and Texas A&M can bury Alabama with spending. That is why Saban is mad.

There is going to be a lot more parity in the SEC and a lot of coaches getting fired. They will be paying three coaches instead of two.

I forogt about the Texas teams.
Texas & Tx A&M has more money than any other schools in the country. They bring in $147M/yr for football program. Bama is at $134M.

ESPN Top 300 2023 Bama only 5 in top 100 and none of the top 12. At times before they’d have 5 of top 12
