That's an upgrade for Dallas I think. PJ is a good role player and can add to their already loaded offense. Another team that's a contender that's been active is the Sixers. They added a quality shooter in Buddy Hield and they moved Pat Beverley for Cam Payne and a second rounder in a trade with Milwaukee. I think that's an interesting because the Bucks desparately needed to upgrade their defense and Beverley will help them in that regard while Payne adds to the depth and ability to shoot from the perimeter of the Sixers.
Golden State stands pat at the deadline which is somewhat surprising to me but at the same time as Warriors fan I get it. They're starting to play better and these guys are capable of getting to the playoffs with the group they have. While a move may have helped them short term towards doing that it would have affected them long term so perhaps standing pat and riding with what you have really was the best move for them at this time.
