In college the local Burger King had $0.10 hamburgers on one day each year. You could only order 10 max at a time. The line was out the door with college kids stocking up and freezing them. Some were buying the 10 burgers for a buck and then selling them outside the door to people in line for $2-3 and getting back in line.

It was awesome.

And yes they freeze. They taste like crap afterwards but you can eat them.

I remember those days, but I was in high school. We were able to leave for lunch and the McDonald’s was right across the street. I think the hamburgers were $.20 and the cheeseburgers were $.30.
