Couple of H2H plays that look like they have some value:

Kyle Larson +110 > Chase Elliott
Larson has a better record than Elliott at Pocono and his practice speeds were a half second better than Elliotts. That combined with better than even money makes this a play for me. I will say Elliott has been racing very well the last few weeks so not a large play here.

William Byron -105 > Ryan Blaney
The odds on this one are off IMO. Byron is starting 18th and Blaney starts 7th, but Byron has better history at this track than Blaney and had a practice speed almost 1.5 seconds better than Blaney. I see Byron making his way through the pack today into the top 5.

Alex Bowman -155 > Kevin Harvick
This one is expensive. I missed the opportunity to get it at -130 this morning :banghead:, so the value has decreased quite a bit but I still believe this is a winnner. Harvick is stating 24th, Bowman 17th. Bowman was 2.5 seconds faster than Harvick in practice. Thats like the length of the front stretch at Pocono (I exaggerate but only a little).
I see Harvick at the sunset of his career. Harvick did finish in top 5 last week at New Hampshire.

Are there any other Nascar plays you see an edge on.
Good luck today guys.

As mentioned in the picks thread I always look at any Hamlin match-up is $$ as is Jones(starting from near back after a great practice) and Kurt(now out from qualifying crash). Bowman should be great for match-ups as well. gL and enjoy the race!!

Kyle Busch is always a wild card. I have a hard time making any plays against him even when the odds look good. The guy can win any race on any given day.

Pocono A tough track to handicap. Also the spot of my worst beat of all time Kyle Larson cut tire on the last turn of the last lap cost me three dimes.

Pocono is definitely not my favorite track to cap. There are no simlar tracks for comparison. I'll take the standard 1.5 mile track anytime. But, I've been sucking so bad at MLB, I decided to change my game and hopefully my luck going with Nascar.

Turn 3 has been hell for many.

It Ty Gibbs' (guy subbing for Kurt Busch) first time in the new Nascar. They were coaching him on how to drive the car.
He has won on this track in the other series. Different type car but come on that pissed me off having him...lol... so much for that story line. he had a back-up car as well. 1st car Kurt had was fast in practice.
