MyBookie has closed my account with a balance of $30,000. I opened the account on September 6, 2024 and deposited $16,000. I wagered on college football and also played some live casino blackjack.

On September 7th, I put in a request to withdraw $5,000 USD. I was shortly promoted to submit an ID as well as a selfie of my ID. After 24 hours, I called customer service and they responded that my payout request would be processed in 12-24 hours.

On September 10th, I tried to log into MyBookie. My account has been closed, and I do not have a way to log back in. I received an email stating that my account has been flagged for additional verification, and that I need to submit a utility bill or recurring bill of the last 60 days. I’m feeling desperate and enraged at this entire situation. Appreciate if anyone has any advice on what I can do.

Curious as to outcome here as well.

OP - how was the initial 16k deposited ? What were your limits per game ? What prompted you to play there vs other books who handle larger wagers on a regular bas

I have very limited experience with MB - but always felt them to be a rec oriented book with very old school/conservative bookmaking rules. So that’s why a 16k deposit stands out here - just seems like a very large deposit into a book like this.

Obviously if made via any method that could be disputed - they have every right to be cautious before payout - especially so close to depositing.

16k is a fairly large deposit - how OP found the book/selected them is relevant to me. No reasonable person just gets up one morning and says “sports betting sounds fun - I’m gonna drain my 401k and try it this weekend”. Likewise - MB is established - but if your a bettor who plays 5-10k a game - your clearly familiar enough with the industry to know of Pinnacle (outside of the US) or Heritage/Bookmaker/Betonline within the US all of whom would handle action of this level without blinking.

Would like to see more from OP on this.
