With emotions from the Luka Doncic trade still raw, multiple fans were ejected in the second half of the Dallas Mavericks' 129-128 home loss to the Sacramento Kings on Monday at the American Airlines Center due to violations of the NBA's code of conduct.

The NBA has a “fan code of conduct” ?

Could you imagine if the NFL tried to enforce a no criticism policy and banned fans who didn’t support management/ownership?

Would make a trip to the Dawg Pound a lot less eventful.

What about years ago when New Orleans fans showed up in droves wearing a bag on their head to protest the horrible teams.

Or in MLB - Oakland fans staging a walk out on games sitting in the parking lot but not going into the stadium in protest - you don’t see MLB suggesting these fans be banned from attending games anywhere.

Dallas fans have every right to be pissed here - your team traded away the face of the franchise. Doesn’t matter that they got a player who can help now or that the team was stagnant - you simply don’t give away cornerstones like that without facing backlash. Either accept it’s going to happen and move on or get out of the game.

You didn’t see the Cav’s banning anyone for protesting when they traded Lebron did you ? Sure he was going to leave - but they had a choice - either trade his rights and get something or decline and let him live with the financial choice he made going to Miami - should have let him deal with his choices and not have tried to salvage something from him.
