Giants RL FF -0.5 -135 vs Nats
We have a favorable matchup with Webb (SFG) vs Adon (Nats) w/ a 2.55 ERA vs 5.87. But if you dig deeper, its even more of starting pitcher mismatch. Webb has starts against better batting teams than Adon and has performed better in those starts than Adon. Webb (MIA, SD, NYM): Adon (NYM, PIT, ARI). I will say Adon had a good outing last time out vs the D-backs but the D-backs bats are some of the worst in MLB (exception is the Reds). In the first two games of the series the Giants were ahead after 5 innings 7-0, & 4-2. I think they will continue to jump on the Nats early, especially with Adon starting. Giants bats are better than the Nats as is the relief pitching. I was opting for the full game but the ML -195 is juicy and I like the odds on the FF RL. Safer and still as likely a winning bet.

St Louis -148 vs Cincy
Man are the Reds bad. They've lost 11 in a row. 2-13 record, 176 battinv avg. I realize they have to win at some point but today they face Wainwright and offer Lodolo as their starting pitcher. Sometimes a game appears so one sided you wonder if maybe some mojo kicks in and they win. I'm hoping it isn't today. St Louis has much better batting than Cincy (everyone does) and Cards relief pitching is also pretty good. The line is enticing at -148. Frankly, I'm surprised its not higher.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the Reds. The only + they may have is the old addage "Don't bet for a sweep against a home team on Sunday". But, I'm doing it anyway.
