1-0 +1 yesterday
8-4 +3.6 over 4 days.

Oakland -128 vs Texas
Montas (OAK) has a 3.63 ERA in 3 starts and has actually pitched much better than that in last 2 starts. His opener wa a dud but he's has 2 gems with 6+ innings each since then. Perez (TEX) meanwhile has 2 start and has not performed well in either. He's pitched 4 innings in each with ~6 H and 3 ER in each. I like that consistency. Relief pitching is a slight edge to OAK (3.31 xFIP & 3.1 ERA vs 4.01 xFIP & 4.10 ERA for TEX). Texas may have an edge at the plate but not by much (WRC+ 104 vs 97 for OAK). Batting averages are 0.239 TEX, 0.220 OAK.

LA Dodgers vs SD Padres
I like Anderson vs Darvish today. I know Darvish was stout in his last outing vs Atlanta (6.2 IP, 8 K, 0 BB, 1 ER, 4 H) but I think the Dodgers bats will give a different stat line today. Darvish has not faced a good hitting team yet. His 3 starts have been against teams in the bottom half of the MLB (ATL, SFG, ARI). The Dodgers are a different story ranking 3rd in WRC+, 7th Avg, & 4th OPS). I believe they will light up Darvis enough to win. Dodgers also have the better relief pitching ranking 7th in xFIP and 5th in ERA vs 22nd xFIP and 22nd ERA for the Padres.

Couple more games coming up later I may add.

One more to add.

Seattle -159 vs Kansas City
Brash (SEA) has 2 starts and looked good in both (5.1 IP, 2 ER, 3 H). He did have 6 BB in last game. His 3.38 ERA is good. He faces Bubic (KC) who had a rough opening outing getting pulled after giving up 5 runs in the first. He did recover well in his 2nd start (4.1 IP, 2H 1ER, 4K) but also gave up 6 walks. So what was the difference in Bubic's starts? In the first game, when he was lit up, he was facing Cleveland, a great hitting team. In the 2nd start he faced Detroit, one of the poorest hitting teams in MLB.

Guess what, Seattle decent at the plate. 8th OPS vs 28th for KC and 5th in WRC+ vs 29th for KC.
Their batting avg is only 0.227 (15th) while KC's is only 0.211.
