MLB Players - How Much Walking Around Money on Road Trips?

So it appears with the latest MLB agreement, the players get ~$117/day for food/tips while on road trips. If the team provides the meals they get $34/day.

I worked for a very large company and our per diem was $35/day if you were on your own and not in a business meal with a client (fully covered). Compared to other companies this was very generous. I guess MLB players eat at a little nicer places than the average Joe, huh? Oh wait, the $117 may also cover some of their bar tabs or other activities. SMH.

How much ‘walking around’ money do St. Louis Cardinals get for meals while on a road trip?

Hint: It’s not a small amount.

Thats like $20 breakfast, $40 lunch, $60 dinner every day on a road trip.
or
Skip breakfast, $20 lunch, & $100 for dinner and drinks with the MLB groupies.

I realize its not cheap but $117/day is not chump change.
