Lets see how he does. High strikout rate and doesn't play defense. I read the Sox are going to move him from 3rd to 1st due to his poor defense.

I don't think he's in Ohtani's range of performance.

They need a lot of pieces though. This will help at the plate but pitching needs help. 20th in ERA in 2025.
