Padres +126 vs Braves
I usually bet with Morton (ATL) since he was one of my favorites but I got tired of losing with him so we'll go against him today. He got lit up by the Padres 4 weeks ago (5 innings, 5 ER, 9H, 3 BB , 5K).

Padres used a few more relievers last night than I'l like to see but they should be ok for today's game.

Baltimore +104 vs Detroit 4:10 ET
Good starting pitcher matchup Zimmerman (BAL) vs Pineda (DET). The game will come down to who is on their game today. Tough to call on starters. Baltimore in a little better shape for having better relief pitchers available if it comes down to that.

The real reason I like Baltimore today over Detroit is that Detroit has not been hitting well. For the season they are at or near the bottom of the league and over the last 7 days they are not much better than that.

Baltimore hasn't lost a series in their last 5. You have to go back to late April for their last series loss (Yankees). Detroit hasn't won a series in their last 8. They won 2 out of 3 in mid-April vs KC.

NYY -153 vs White Sox 7:10 ET
Montgomery (NYY) is pitching much better than Keuchel (CWS).
NYY bats are much better as is relief pitching. Yankees are on a roll with 5 wins in a row. White Sox are on tilt losing last 2 and giving up big scores to the Yankees.

Arizona -155 vs Cubs
Gallen (ARI) vs Hendricks (CUB). Gallen is pitching at Cy Young level. He's given up 1 ER in 18 innings at home. Over the last 2 weeks, Arizona bats have been much better than the Cubs. The Cubs do have an edge in the bullpen (2.78 ERA vs 4.16 ERA).

Angels -161 vs Oakland (Game 2) 9:40 ET
This is a play on the Angels bats and against Oakland. Angels are top 3 in batting over last 2 weeks. Oakland is bottom 3 in MLB. Lorenzen (LAA) has not been great but decent this season. He faces Oller who is giving up runs like Grandma gives out candy at halloween. Angels bullpen is also much better than the As.
