I think with ML parlays, if you like a fav by a TD or more, it still gives you a slight advantage
There are 3 outcomes
Favorite covers the spread
Favorite wins but doesn't cover
Dog pulls the upset
Obviously taking the ML is expensive because it gives you 2 out of the 3
I guess the key is you keep the wager amount reasonable, and if that dog wins outright, you've only lost something like 1 unit or whatever you would have wagered on the fav to Cover, but didn't
It's just like losing a regular wager
I do recall years ago watching a bettor on someone's
5dimes sheet who would hit 10-15 team ML parlays for thousands and took his bankroll to over $100,000
