Hey guys, new member here. Really appreciate that a place like this exists.
I have an interesting situation here.
I have a parlay on Bet365, where the cumulative odds added up, should return an odd of 3.90. On Bet365, the odds seem to return 3.88.
Now for a $1 bet of mine, the discrepancy is only $0.02, and I am not claiming this is a lot, but had I bet $1000, the discrepancy would be $20.
I messaged support, and they provided a odds calculator site (I forget the link now, but if necessary, I can get the link and chat logs), that returned an odd of 3.89.
However when I provided another odds calculator site that returned an odd of 3.90 and also provided the manual calculations myself: 1.29(-350)x1.4(-250)x1.59(-170)x1.36 = 3.90
I am a bit frustrated that support wouldn't honor the accurate calculations of the odds, and instead remaining persistent on using the odds calculator site they had, which admitted returned a higher odd than the betslip below, but wouldn't trust the actual calculation nor another odds calculator site.
I am also frustrated that this could happen on a big book like Bet365, and worry that I have to calculate all my parlays in the future.
