The total is 7 for this game. Wind it to left field at 18 mph.

Downside is Oracle park is one of the worst stadiums for Home Runs (26th) because it is pretty big. The short reach to right (309') won't come into play today but the 339' to left might. But, this field also gives up a lot of hits due to the enormous outfield area.

We have starters:
Woodruff (MIL) 4.01 ERA (season)
Wood (SFG) 4.43 ERA (season)

Woodruff has been pitching better of late (2.12 ERA over last month).
Also of note: Wood it a southpaw.

Is there an edge here?

I like Milwaukee in this one even though SF’s starter Wood is 3-0 vs. Milwaukee lifetime. Woodruff for the Brewers has been pitching well lately 7-3 over his last 10. I’ll probably bet Milwaukee depending on where I can find the best price (either local here in Vegas or an offshore out)

I said after the holiday weekend the Giants Padres and Bluejays were exposed as pretenders as they really fell hard. Padres and Giants played each other after that kinda disguised their fall. Tom Petty Free Falling comes to mind.

I agree. I thought these teams would put some pressure on the Dodgers this season but they have not come through. The Giants are especially disappointing at just over 0.500 ball.

Still some time left in season to recover (or free fall as you mention).

I wouldn't trust the wind report even at game time at Oracle Park. The wind changes every 20 mins there. Giants are missing Buster Posey.
