Central Florida good spotIm thinking of moving. I’ll save 6.5 % moving from CT for income tax alone. CT has property taxes on your car too which is a joke. Im looking near Tampa though

northeast has high property taxes also. I pay 8800 for .25 acres and my house was built in 1955Well, I live in Texas... No state income tax but my property tax is astronomical and local sales tax is pretty high too.
When you do the math, the total taxes I pay in Texas are roughly equivalent to what Californians pay, even with their income tax so high.
