he loses every year, but he wraps in the gambling to his matress furniture store. So even when he losses he still wins

he's a loser gambler like most of us.
I think it would be cool to see someone win the biggest sports bet on record.
The largest prior to this seems to be $14M winner. There might be some bigger but this was my first search.

Everyone has heard about this guy.... Houston furniture salesman and philanthropist has over the last several weeks bet $10M on the Astros to win the WS. He does this every year, just not to this extent.

His payout if it happens will be $75M. The largest sports payout on record.

One word …. Hedge !! 😎

There ain't a furniture store in the world that nets $10m / year

There's about 25 beer distributors that net that much, and it takes close to $115m in revenue

Mack has other income or insurance or trust fund

No trust fund. He was dead-ass broke when he came to Houston. He opened a furniture store in a 20'x20' tent on I-45 and grew his own business from there. Now he's worth hundreds of millions and has a multi-story store over several blocks.

I've actually bought furniture from him personally at his store. He talks really fast like a saleman but won't screw you on a sale. He loves to deal. I think we countered each others offer 6 times before we settled.

We also paid him to come and give an inspirational speach to our group at my company years ago. The guy is amazing. I hope he wins.

Already thought it out:
30% to family
30% to my friends (including those at BMR) and charities.
Piss away the rest. :lmao:

What about you Le? What would you do.
i'm with you on giving a portion to family, friends, and charities. but the rest i would definitely want to travel, and also have my dream home with lots of land and animals.... i wanna rescue all the stray babies 😅

I call this part, the "piss it away" part.

Spend it on myself and wife.... ranch in Colorado, luxury suites for NFL, MLB, and never miss a Superbowl, World Series, or Final 4.

Make a $10M bet on Astros.... Jk :lmao:

I know I'm not tanko but I figured I'd chime in here. I would probably buy a cabin on a cruise ship and sail the world while investing for the future. I would also give to friends and family that are less fortunate
Wait..... Mr. Bobby be limited on the variety of foods available on the ship and wouldn't be able to give us reviews anymore. :ROFLMAO:
