Some great offers out there with money back on 2nd/3rd - up to $10-20 for your win bets. Never get rich playing these - but not unreasonable to expect to clear $100-200 betting the entire card. Experience tells me just bet 2nd/3rd picks and in the few races where there are overwhelming faves - pick a horse you like and hope to cash - knowing hitting the board at least gets your money back.

Then take what you clear today and build your bankroll on a game you like tomorrow. Nothing wrong with being a value oriented gambler.

Actually solid advice from JJ.

Big handles - a lot of pros will stay away from these type of races. Not as bad as a triple crown race (KY Derby is worst by far) to try and profit from a favorite on - but we all know if it’s on TV - uneducated bettors will bet it and chase faves.

Better to try exactas than picking winners - not a huge takeout and can catch some good payouts. Tri/super is for suckers.

Xpressbet had a few promos that I took advantage of and stacking those with the MBS. Here's a longshot for you in the final race # 13 - #5 Trademark - this horse and jockey combo in the 5 slot have had a lot of success. Also like the 2 for another one with longer odds. The Baffert horse seems overbet although I am sure he has that thing juiced to the gills and I will probably lose.

yeah they changed that protocol a couple of years ago. Today they are back to long delays in post time as it looks like they want to max out the pools. But overall they are more punctual now than ever before with today being excluded.

Race 1 - the class of the race is the 2 but you might make a play on the 8 or 3 for a place wager and maybe add those into a quinella?? The HK Jockey Club website is great - tons of free info
