Anyone around to discuss the race tonight?

I'm on Kyle Busch, C. Elliott, and Bowman in head to heads.

It will be interesting to see how the new car works at this track.
Seems as though Chase has figured it out. Super fast in practice.

Chase was great in 2021. Finishing 2nd in April and although he finished 16th in the fall he lead the most laps (289).

How did Hamlin fall so far behind?

His setup for the weekend sucked and he hasn't been able to adjust.

Chase is lapping everyone, including Hamlin. Looks like a Chase vs Byron race TBH.

Hamlin doesn't seem to have a feel for the new car design on this track.

No cautions in the race so far which is crazy for Martinsville.

How did Hamlin fall so far behind?

With the way the new practice and qualifying are teams don't have long to get their cars right. On a track like this and Bristol poll slot and pitt is everything as the field is so long so it doesn't take long to get lapped. At Bristol, there is a ton of accidents in the middle traffic but at least the cautions get teams back on lead lap. Here there is not as many cautions.

The cold weather saved my Reds plus 2.5 and the defense throwing out 2 at the plate

Typical race killing it all race until last handful. When did larson shit the bed. need a caution ASAP

Elliott and Byron were stout tonight. Chase faded last.

Larson had a speeding penalty during the last green flag pit stops.

That caution might give Larson a few more spots but this pathetic performance probably costs me this contest. Should have been more Patient and waited for Dover to use both. Need top 3s out of your elite studs. Top 5-10 for others. anything better than 20 on a bum is $$
