suppose it can be said that the Pads (3-8 in L11) are in a bounce back spot after yesterday's truly embarrassing performance. Clevinger has looked improved recently while Gilbert has been a bit more hittable
but Pads bats continue to be ice cold. their pitching staff must think they have to be perfect out there with the absence of the offense and that has to be mentally draining when they're out there - they may feel they can't pound the zone as much and have to nibble more being afraid to make mistakes
