Only age 33. Quite an achievement

If he’s somewhat productive next 5-6 years doubt he’ll get to 3k but will end up having some very impressive career numbers

I always wonder if hanging around to get a milestone like that bothers players when the greatness gets diluted. IE he hits .250 last couple years and drops all his other great stat lines.

Post-steroid era almost all drop way off numbers-wise as they pass age 34-35

That’s why these mega contracts for 10 years-plus (Miggy, Pujols, Trout etc) never work out in the long run
