Had around $1500 something in my account today after going allin on Baylor -5 2nd half yesterday and cashing. Thought about making some bets in the morning to make more money and than cashing out when Bookmaker allows you to since they don't allow weekend cashouts probably to get allin players like me to bust their accounts. Thought about following Pile's +4 Michigan play for $700(If i lost I would go allin) since the dude seems to know whats up but passed(would of lost) and than thought about live betting Villanova -4 against Providence(would of lost). After watching both those games on tv I decided to turn on the Rutgers/Iowa game after watching Edey dominate Michigan St. Didn't want to put a play on that so right before the NFL game started I decided to make a play +2.5 on San Fran for $700.
Based on what I saw in the game before Purdy went down and seeing everything I've seen it looked like the right side but man does that backup suck and the refs have made one bad call on a PI which would of forced a punt from PHILLY which led to a PHILLY TD. I pretty much gave up on my bet after seeing the last turnover from the 4th stringer which led to another Philly score to go up 21-7 that I headed over to the casino. Before all this I was looking at a couple of bets that both would of been losers for my remaining balance so I"m lucky I held off live betting Georgetown or St Johns.
Well I checked blackjack but they had a $250 limit so I said f that and went to live dealer blackjack instead. I found a table with nobody on it and went allin for $800 and the dealer gives me a 2 and I"m like fck and than the dealer gives me a 6 so I'm like okay not too bad, but than hes showing a 10 and I"m like fck again. Well I of course I hit and get a 17 so I stand of course and the dealer than turns over a 6 for 16 and I start to get excited and than about 10 seconds later the dealer flips draws a 10 and busts. I get up and start fist bumping haha and get all happy like FCK yeah fck you Josh Johnson for costing me my bet.
So I"m right back to square one right before I made the bet(I'm actually up almost a $100) but I'm deciding whether to go allin on this late game or not or just cash out my winnings. I"m thinking of cashing out and taking a break which I can never do. Anyone else gamble like me? Don't gamble like me if you do or don't haha. From what I've learned if you bet more than 1 or 2 % of your roll your going to go bust in the long run or just continue on this habit of going allin which will lead to your demise. I lost $40,000 once on bookmaker after going up and down for months starting from like $1000 and almost winning my money back after losing around $20,000 one time earlier. I have since basically bet a lot smaller or have stopped betting at all. I can just never get into betting so small and betting so much but I guess I'm not the type of gambler that bets one unit for one game. I guess I just get bored doing that.
