This is true. the Reds are one of those teams you never know if they are going to surprise you and play decent ball. They won their last game over the Yankees

I really like Green early in the year thought he was the second coming of Vida Blue. First round draft choice 100 mph and all but he let me down. Cardinals are having trouble scoring of late So we might be in a good spot

Loved watching Vida Blue hook up with Nolan Ryan down in Anaheim. Then five days later do it all over again in Oakland. Both teams sucked so they were low scoring. No pitch count back then they’d battle right to the ninth and beyond if needed.

Yea I was an A’s fan all those guy’s were great. Then came free agency and it was a mass exodus couldn’t get out of town fast enough to rid themselves of Charlie Finely and poor Vida was last man standing.

Loved Tanana before he blew out his arm. Saw him pitch with the Red Sox later in his career but was completely different pitcher then.
My favorite team was the Orioles with their 4 20 win pitchers in 71.
