His results were amazing and yes the ends justified the means. His players may not have felt like it did but he made all of them better than they ever could be elsewhere.

I've listened to Steve Alford videos. Steve was complimentary of Coach Knight.

And I thought it was genuine. Steve was appreciative of Knight. I got the sense there was no animosity toward Coach Knight.

It's weird I was listening to one of his infamous tirades on Youtube yesterday prior to a game against Purdue. He was abrasive but I actually kind of liked him even though I am a Kentucky fan and he absolutely hated Kentucky. He's an absolute legend whether you despised him or not. RIP to a college basketball great.

They don't make them like him any more which is why today's kids are softer. Coach Knight made men out of his boys more often than not with his antics which is why most of them have nothing but good things to say about him even though often times he was shown being a "bully" towards them.

The new generation coach, for the most part is too easy, it’s why the NBA ran out Scotty Skiles he was too tough
