There weren’t 30 teams in his day. Obviously an incredible stat but expansion is the reason some of the huge scorers from back in the day didn’t have a chance to do this

League is more talented and better than ever

Offensive skill is a lot more prevalent throughout the league than ever, and not really close

Defenders are about as good as ever. Even if no guy like Rodman out there, there are a lot of great defenders out there. Only so much you can do to stop superior offensive skill

3-point shot has changed the game more though, which has freed up lane a bit

Watched a ton of those Finals battles on replay. Would always watch it while on treadmill or elliptical during winter months back when I lived out east.

Some of the best basketball I've ever watched for sure. Loved both Bird and Magic. Two top-10 players for sure
