I am not sure this is true. If you want to be a hoops purist, ok. But comparing players from different epochs is never fair. It's impossible but kind of fun haha

But I would look at things like pop culture influence (I'd love it if LeBron got into gangsta rap for a couple of years!) and global branding - like how many billions will each MegaBrand bring in tomorrow and 10 years from now?
