I read the same. BUT, its hard to believe they are afraid of spreading covid in the hand-shake line, when they are literally sweating all over each other and breathing in each other's face on the court.

If you're catching covid from an opponent, it's more likely to be on the court than in the hand-shake line.

I'm wondering if they were worried about a Mich/Wisconsin repeat.

I for one wouldn't mind seeing a little UFC action at the end of a basketball game. You get 2 events for the price of one. Of course I'm kidding, but only a little.

You would be surprised how easily it is spread. I have seen it 1st hand in the very beginning when no one knew wtf to do. Shit spread like wildfire. No reason to take unnecessary risks and mess up your season.
