When I created the name at The Rx I think originally it was I needed a forum name and didn't really give it much thought. Big Stones fan so why not?
Anyway I knew when RS originally formed Keith Richard was his stage name. I always thought that was his birth name but his manager urged him to use Richard instead of Richards. Keith later changed it back to Richards.

So I had it all wrong . Richards was birth name. I thought it was other way around so I thought Keith Richard was the proper name for me to use.
I think I have used this name almost exclusively since the 90s when the forums first started . I was never really a frequent poster . Too busy with life and work I guess. Sorry it wasn't a more interesting story Genie.

I blame the manager for all this confusion lol. haha. It's a good story, Keith.

Andrew Loog Oldham was the manager then. He also would not allow the piano player Ian Stewart to be an official member of the band. He didnt have the proper image I guess although he toured with the band through 1985.

Actually he may have been the one to actually make them famous though they were probably destined to be anyway.
