Kansas is self-imposing a 4 game suspension on Bill Self and 4 assistants for their role in recruiting violations from 2019. Many of you may remember the Adidas violations.

NCAA Violation Allegations:
In 2019, the NCAA hit Kansas with five Level I violations in September of 2019. Significantly, there were charges of “lack of institutional control and head coach responsibility” against Bill Self. The charges stem from allegations that individuals connected to Adidas acted as boosters and gave money to the families of Kansas prospect recruits. Moreover, the program did not properly monitor any alleged wrongdoing by Adidas. Thus, the NCAA implemented the lack of institutional control charges.

4 GAMES. THATS IT. They had 5 LEVEL 1 violations and get a slap on the wrist from the school. They hope this will appease the NCAA and help the school avoid further sanctions. I hope the NCAA hammers them.

So now that players are paid NIL fees, do we just disregard this or do we hold coaches accountable for violating the rules that were in place at the time?

As if Adidas gives a flying fuk what the NCAA had to say. They are not bound by any bullshit NCAA "law"

for sure ku is not the only school doing shit like this. if they give ku a harsher punishment then they should also investigate everyone.
Yep. Okla st, Ariz, Auburn Miami, South Carolina, USC, NC State,..... . All should be hammered.
The FBI has head coaches and assistant coaches on wire tape implicated in the corruption.

i just wish the kids had to stay in school 4 years. It was so much more enjoyable being a fan getting to know the players and watch them improve their game. Will never see that basketball again unfortunately except at the smaller schools. Now we don't even see that in football as the kids can transfer whenever they want. Terrible
