I still wonder what happened the year he sat out for San Antonio. Anyone here have reason for what went down? I know there supposedly was an injury of some sort, But the deal appears to go much deeper than that. THX.

If I recall, to make along story short, there was a quad injury that had trouble healing and team doctors and Kawhi's "people" disagreed on how to treat him.

There was probably more to it and the injury disagreement might be more of a scapegoat but still had something to do with it.
