Three plays today for me in hoops. First up I like North Carolina to cover against Clemson. Clemson probably won't come out flat here against Carolina despite coming off that huge win against Duke on Saturday. They're too experienced and well coached for that to happen but I'm on North Carolina here because I think they need this game way more than Clemson. Carolina is a bubble team and they don't have very many opportunities in the ACC to pick up a signature win so I expect them to play one of their best games of the year tonight and keep this close enough to either cover or win outright for a much needed win for their resume.
In the Association I took Boston ATS because they've been lights out covering spreads under 6 this season and they seem to play better on the road. I think Miami is reeling after the Jimmy Butler trade so they're ripe here for a blowout loss to the champs. My other play is on the Warriors and Bucks to stay under the total tonight. I don't expect much fireworks from either side because they're both a little banged up especially Milwaukee with no Giannis in the lineup. Curry is also banged up and we don't know if he'll play tonight or not but even if he does I think this game will not feature as much scoring because Milwaukee is playing a back to back and also the strength of their defense is taking away the three point shot which is Golden State's primary weapon.
