He wasn't gambling on NFL or college football but the NFL rules state....

"The NFL suspended Miles Austin for wagering from a legal mobile account on table games and non-NFL professional sports,"

"...all coaches are prohibited from any type of sports gambling, not just football."


The NFL has some messed up rules. SMH

There are no rules for NFL owners. If there were they could break them without repercussion just like they break laws.

I liked Miles Austin when he played for the Cowboys... I never really put much thought into it, but, as long as he's not betting on college/NFL, seems like it shouldn't matter.
