Kid yes

it’s sucks

parity kills interest

Home teams are so hard to beat college basketball
I think you mean Parity generates Interest GOLD. It does for me at least. It sucked for instance when 3 teams could win NBA title. Now maybe 6 or 7 have a shot and it fires up the game IMO. Same for the college experience.

Shows exactly how “valuable” rankings are in January hoops.

I place more faith in pre-season NCAAF rankings than I do hoops rankings before March.

Basketball can take a solid 3 months for a team to find its level. You have a bad month in football - you’re dead. A bad month in Basketball - you just have a slightly lower seed in the tourney.

Kid good point

I mainly watch Big East, Big Ten and Pac 12
If you want to see some good basketball add Big12 to your list.
KenPom's conference rankings.

Sure ACC is loaded at the top but, from top to bottom Big12 is the bets conference. The top 8-9 teams can beat any of the others in the top of the conference. Its going to be cut-throat as hell (like usual).

Kentucky wins Saturday against A&M on the road and they'll be top 3. Personally for me I don't care about top 25 rankings all that much it's great for water cooler talk but all that matters is playing your best ball at the right time. These teams are going to lose more on the road in conference play that's the way it always is. The thing that makes college basketball better than college football imo is that you can recover from early season losses and go on a run in March Madness all the way to winning a title like Connecticut did last season.
