Macro vs microeconomics here. Stocks are a single economic sector - and the majority of those won’t go down even 10% - but several big ones who have been on a rocket ship up just might.

Consumer sentiment isn’t great - but it’s not horrible either. Likewise companies remain profitable - and labor is still slightly unbalanced with open jobs outpacing unemployment - just reaching a more balanced level.

Still way too many people thinking it’s 2020 and there are 8 jobs fighting for their services today - the days of employees holding all the cards are done.
