Is MLB Spring Training Too Long?

Around 30 Games for each team seems excessive

Regular season is already long enough

We got NFL Preseason shortened, can we do the same for baseball now?

It means absolutely nothing just some guys training and getting a look at the young guys

Yes - have said it before.

7-10 days pitchers and catchers - 2 weeks everyone.

Start 1st of March at the earliest - do international games for the “cold weather” teams the first week of April to allow for them to hold games and allow sufficient days off to give them travel time.

Really no “disadvantage” if you have 3-4 days to go to say Tokyo to play a 3 game “home stand” and then 2-3 days to return and play on West Coast. Same with say sending a team to Mexico City to play a series.

Teams like Chicago/Milwaukee/Detroit/Cleveland and Boston should not be opening at home any earlier than April 15th.

is what it is. pitchers can't be ready for starts without a good 5-6 slow build up outings. season starts too soon anyways. reduce regular season to 140 games

It’s a money maker for Arizona and Florida. That’s why they have it. No other reason.
