Apple just announced the new iPhone 17 lineup and they’re hyping up things like the upgraded cameras, battery life, and the thinnest iPhone ever! But are they really that different though than what we already see on the market with the 16?

Are you upgrading right away, waiting it out, or sticking with what you have?

I’m on a 13 - so technically “due” to upgrade at some point - but it does what I need and more.

Ditched titanium for aluminum - supposedly more scratch resistant? I don’t get it - granted I failed high school chemistry - but how is titanium MORE susceptible to damage than a beer car ?

Camera - meh, so I really need ultra high resolution pics to post pictures of the dogs on FB ? More memory - I don’t use what I have and it’s all in the cloud.

The new AirPods look neat with translation feature - but aside from the ability to walk into the Chinese place and stealthily hear what they are saying about me in their native language - what else are they good for ?
