We are all aware of the ADA Americans with Disability Act that was introduced to us in 1990.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in several areas, including employment, transportation, public accommodations, communications and access to state and local government' programs and services.

The Poster Abuse Act (PAA)

However with the recent events of poster discrimination and poster abuse, it is only right that we have some protection here and have rights. I am implementing the PAA - Poster Abuse Act, it will give us a safe space where we can feel safe, feel welcomed, feel that we can be ourselves here. We no longer will have "clicks" where certain posters gang up on a poster and make them feel less of a poster or less of a man or woman. We will no longer have name calling with racist rants, we will no longer demeaning posts degrading women or people less fortunate. This act will have revisions over time but lets come together as one and do what is right for the community. Let's all welcome the PAA January 1st, 2025.

The PAA is designed to stop poster bullying like @DiggityDaggityDo @Tanko @KVB and more, posters feel threatened and scared when they come here and are ganged up on. This is a community of sports betting and lifestyle not for intimidation and to make us feel less about ourselves. I am sick of tired of posting feeling scared when I post.

Absolutely approve of this act.

I will gather my thought and share a bit later - but one important exception to the PAA - there is no protection for those posters who have knowingly cheated/stiffed another poster.

We only help protect the offended - not the offenders.
I agree, it is about to be 2025 and we need justice for all. There is no more cheating on your records, making new threads for your records if you are losing. We need a strong enforcer and as long as your health is in tact , I think @djefferis is the man that can take charge here and make this act stand its ground.

I don’t see the role of the PAA being that of “enforcer” - that’s mod territory.

Rather it should simply act as a guideline of accepted standards for posting and protecting those whose right are violated. We don’t need more tin badge sheriffs riding around - just a voice of reason from the forum itself to do what the mods can’t.

Agreed - the amount of inflated records/late posting of winning picks, calling out books in blackmail attempts and other offenses has gotten out of control. Posters need protection in something other than a mob of angry forumites carrying pitchforks and torches.
