ransomware.
they've taken many big companies these past couple years.

they basically take root access, make all systems nonfunctional, Except..
only msg will read "pay X $ now via un-traced crypto to address Z, to unlock, or else..."
user has no other option but to pay.

Its a major problem. esp. with existing security holes/ loop holes.
with incoming AI boom, ransomware, malware, viruses, will only get better & automated.
but good news, so will cybersecurity. its a classic double-edged sword.
