Not sure what the TV show was called back in the day. But basically, 3 guys, 3 girls and a host. They joke around, answer funny questions etc for an hour. Then each guy selects a girl, and vice versa. All blind picks.
If a pair matches, they get to go on a paid 'first date'. If they manage to learn enough about one another, they can win a real prize - a week-long vacation on a cruise ship etc. But the point is, they have to answer hard questions when they're back to the studio - on a separate day I'm guessing - after the first date.
The host asks the girl questions about the guy, and not just ABC questions but things like 'What was the name of his fav. teacher in middle school', 'How old was he when he first smoked/had sex' etc etc.
If you think accountant is bringing a wife - not a hooker - you may want to prepare for a questioning session. Pay for an extra 30 minutes and find out some basic things about your girl just so that you're ready!
