It's actually 'Duetch Man'

He was German, but it's been lost in translation.

A dude did find it soon after his death they say, went from rags to riches, August Ruth.

Unfortunately- he later turned up w 2 bullets in his skull

Never seen it spelled Duetchman anywhere.

He might be from Germany, but it's always spelled dutchman.

You're talking about Adolph Ruth. He claimed he found it. Never verified.

A lot of people thought it was in the Superstition Mountains for a long time. Geologists have studied the area and now say that much gold would never have formed in such an area.
That's why these people are fukkin idiots.

Waltz took enormous amounts of gold out of the Superstitions. This is historical fact.

He said himself he had a mine and he personally killed at least 8 people protecting it, including his own nephew. This is also historical fact.

You're not killing your own nephew for nothing. You aren't killing people if something isn't there.

The Lost Dutchman Mine DOES exist.

We just haven't found it yet.

😲 Are some people still actively searching for it?
Many thousands every year from all over the world.

There's even a Lost Dutchman event every year that get together as a group and go looking for it.

It's definitely out there somewhere, Bobby.

God only knows where though.

Ain't never been found and if it was, ain't nobody saying anything.

Maybe you could link to these "historical facts" so we can read up on them ourselves.

Hofstra went downhill once it abandoned “The Flying Dutchmen” nickname.
I'd like to get out there myself one day and get up in those Superstitions and see if I can't stumble upon it.

I was always curious about this legend ever since I first heard about it.
