phillies dominate for 7 innings then they take out wheeler and the mets comeback unreal this new york team

This Mets team has potential to go far.

Thought it was Lindor and a bunch of dead weight coming into the playoffs - but they are impressing me.

I really like this Mets team but boy what a disastrous move by Thomson taking out Wheeler who was shutting them down. Managers who manage like it's the regular season always fail in the postseason and that was the case here I would let him at least come out for the eighth inning. I don't care that he was over 100 pitches he could have gone out there for the eighth imo. It's always easy to second guess a manager in the postseason but to me when you have a starter whose dealing you don't take him out there because sometimes all it takes is seeing a different pitcher for an dormant offense to start cooking.
